Anna Penn

Jean-Louis Lelogeais

Chairman

Jean-Louis Lelogeais is the Co-Founder and Senior Managing Director of Strategic Value Partners, a global hedge fund and private equity firm focused on distressed debt investing which was established in 2001.  Prior that he held a number of senior positions at Moore Strategic Value Partners, Chase Manhattan Bank and was a Partner at Booz Allen Hamilton.  Mr. Lelogeais received an MS in Engineering from Ecole des Mines and an MS in Management Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1985.

Jay M. Goffman

Treasurer

Jay M. Goffman is the Global Leader of Skadden Corporate Restructuring Group and an internationally renowned restructuring expert. He was named among “The Decade’s Most Influential Lawyers” by The National Law Journal in March, 2010 and was recognized as one of The American Lawyers “Dealmakers of the Year” in April 2011. In May 2013, Mr. Goffman was a recipient of the prestigious “Blue Cloud Award,” bestowed upon him by the China Institute in recognition of his many years of service promoting stronger relationships and cultural exchange between the US and China.

Mr. Goffman is proud to help leverage research for cerebral palsy to have a positive impact on the lives on many and the world as a whole.


Anna Penn

Paul Masi

Secretary

Mr. Masi is currently the President of Cerebral Palsy Alliance (Australia) and has served as a Director since 2013. Mr. Masi was Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Austock Group from March 2010 to March 2012. Formerly he was Country Head and Chief Executive Officer of Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Australia.

Mr. Masi is Chairman of Shaw Stockbroking, a Non-executive Director of The Girls and Boys Brigade, a Non-executive Director of Blue Sky Alternative Access Fund Ltd, and an advisor to the board of Eminence Capital.

Mr. Masi is a parent to a child with cerebral palsy and believes that by supporting research, society can play a huge part in piecing together the puzzle of cerebral palsy.


Anna Penn

John Sintras

John Sintras began his advertising career with Leo Burnett Sydney in 1982. Over his 30 year career, John has achieved many career milestones including his induction into the Media Federation of Australia Hall of Fame in 2012 and being named Marketer of the Year by the Australian Marketing Institute that same year. Most recently, John held the dual roles of Chairman, Starcom Mediavest Group in Australia in addition to being the network’s Global Director of Strategy and Product. In February 2016, John commences a new role with IPG Mediabrands as President, Global Business Development and Product Innovation based in New York.

John’s deep experience with disability is as a parent to a child with cerebral palsy. John has been an outstanding fundraiser for Cerebral Palsy Alliance in Australia, helping to raise millions of dollars for children and families living with cerebral palsy.


David Berman

David Berman

David Berman is a Senior Managing Director, Head of the Consumer, Gaming & Leisure Industry Groups and a member of the Operating Committee at Macquarie Capital, a global investment banking firm. Mr. Berman was the founder and CEO of REGAL Capital Advisors, prior to its sale to Macquarie in May 2011. Previously, Mr. Berman was Managing Director and Head of Gaming, Lodging & Leisure investment banking at Credit Suisse, CIBC World Markets and Oppenheimer & Co.

Mr. Berman earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. Mr. Berman is Chairman of the Jessica Berman Foundation and serves on the USC Marshall School of Business Board of Leaders and on the Board of Directors of Tower Cancer Research Foundation.

He is a parent of a child with cerebral palsy and strongly supports impactful and innovative research initiatives focused on prevention, treatment and cure of cerebral palsy.
