Jean-Louis Lelogeais

Chairman

Jean-Louis Lelogeais is Co-Founder of PEO Partners, a liquid private equity alternatives platform. He is also a Senior Advisor at SVP Global, a leading global distressed debt and restructuring ​firm, which he co-founded in 2001. Prior to founding SVP Global, he held a number of senior positions at Moore Strategic Value Partners ​and Chase Manhatt​an, and ​he was a Partner at Booz Allen & Hamilton.

Mr. Lelogeais received an MS in Engineering from the Ecole des Mines and an MS in Management Sciences from M.I.T.

Mr. Lelogeais has a wonderful daughter with cerebral palsy. He is passionate about the possibilities ​that science offer​s to change the course of CP.

Paul Masi

Secretary

Mr. Masi is currently the President of Cerebral Palsy Alliance (Australia) and has served as a Director since 2013. Mr. Masi was Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Austock Group from March 2010 to March 2012. Formerly he was Country Head and Chief Executive Officer of Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Australia.

Mr. Masi is Chairman of Shaw Stockbroking, a Non-executive Director of The Girls and Boys Brigade, a Non-executive Director of Blue Sky Alternative Access Fund Ltd, and an advisor to the board of Eminence Capital.

Mr. Masi is a parent to a child with cerebral palsy and believes that by supporting research, society can play a huge part in piecing together the puzzle of cerebral palsy.

David Berman

Treasurer

David Berman is a Senior Managing Director, Head of the Consumer, Gaming & Leisure Industry Groups and a member of the Operating Committee at Macquarie Capital, a global investment banking firm. Mr. Berman was the founder and CEO of REGAL Capital Advisors, prior to its sale to Macquarie in May 2011. Previously, Mr. Berman was Managing Director and Head of Gaming, Lodging & Leisure investment banking at Credit Suisse, CIBC World Markets and Oppenheimer & Co.

Mr. Berman earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. Mr. Berman is Chairman of the Jessica Berman Foundation and serves on the USC Marshall School of Business Board of Leaders and on the Board of Directors of Tower Cancer Research Foundation.

He is a parent of a child with cerebral palsy and strongly supports impactful and innovative research initiatives focused on prevention, treatment and cure of cerebral palsy.

Lizette Dunay

Lizette Dunay is past Co-Founder and past Co-Executive Director of Cure CP a national non-profit that funds medical research for CP. Previous to Cure CP, Lizette worked in the medical and biologics field in sales and business development for 15 years with a strong emphasis and focus on regenerative medicine.

Most recently she was awarded the prestigious “2015 World Stem Cell Action Inspiration Award” by the Genetics Policy Institute (GPI) and Regenerative Medicine Foundation (RMF) for her work as an impactful advocacy organization and inspiring advocate for CP Patients. Lizette also serves as a member of the American Academy of CP and Developmental Medicine (AACPDM) community council member, a member of The CP Collaborative and a speaker and community advocate for CP.

Previously she also volunteered her time with The Parent’s Guide to Cord Blood Foundation, as a Parent Educator, served on a speakers panel at the World Stem Cell Summit in 2014 and again in 2018, and has been a guest speaker for several advocacy events.

Lizette also served on the University of Florida Alumni Board of Directors from 2017-2018. Lizette is a graduate of University of Florida (1992) where she received her B.A. in Economics and a minor in Spanish.

She lives in Atlanta, GA with her husband and two children, Alex and Emma.

Martin Pompadur

Martin Pompadur

Marty Pompadur graduated from Williams College in 1955 with a BA Degree and from Michigan Law School in 1958 with a LLB Degree. He began his career that year as a practicing attorney in Stamford, Connecticut but quickly entered the media field when in 1960 he joined American Broadcasting Companies, Inc. He remained at ABC for 17 years culminating in his becoming a member of the Board of Directors.

After a long and highly successful career in Media industry including Ziff Corporation and News Corporation Europe, Mr. Pompadur is now involved in many companies as an investor, advisor and board member.

Previously he was a board member of many private and public companies including Imax Corporation, ABC, Inc, BSKYB, Sky Italia, Premier World, Fox Kids Europe, Metromedia international, and Elong.

Mr Pompadur’s involvement with cerebral palsy spans several decades, beginning with his Board Directorship for United Cerebral Palsy and his long-standing friendship with the late Leonard H. Goldenson, Founder-Chairman of ABC and Founder of United Cerebral Palsy.

John Sintras

John has been a Director since June 2018. He is a member of the Community Relations, Fundraising and Marketing Committee.

John was previously a member of the Board from August 2009 until his resignation in January 2016 following his decision to relocate to New York where he was employed as President of Global Business Development and Product Innovation at IPG Mediabrands. During his period in New York, John served as one of the founding Directors on the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation Inc.

In May 2018, John returned to Sydney, and is currently Chief Audience and Content Officer at SBS, Australia’s multicultural and Indigenous broadcaster, where he has end-to-end oversight of SBS’s Audience and Content strategy – specifically its brands, marketing approach, audience engagement and analytics.
