About the Accelerator
Our 16-week Accelerator program helps startups focused on disability by giving them seed funding, guidance from startup coaches, mentors, feedback from the disability community, and the know-how to grow into successful, positive-impact businesses.
Remarkable US is a US-based program funded through the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation. Remarkable Global (our international counterpart) runs the program for startups based in Australia and throughout the globe (Australia+) funded through Cerebral Palsy Alliance. Although these programs have different start dates, they will periodically meet for international sessions throughout the 16 weeks.
Startups who are incorporated in the US will be eligible for acceptance in the US cohort, and startups based outside the US will be eligible for acceptance into the Australia+ cohort. For more information on the Australia+ cohort, please visit this page.

Our cohorts are small so that we can tailor our program to your startup’s needs and goals. Benefit from weekly 1:1 coaching, tailored programming, and expert advice to help your startup grow. You’ll also gain valuable insights from our extensive network and receive tips on making your website, products, and marketing more accessible and inclusive for everyone.
Network:
Connect with local and global networks across various sectors. Benefit from mentorship in key strategic areas including branding, legal, sales, business development, capital raising, and expertise from those in the disability space. Attend key industry events and build connections at our gatherings.
Investment:
Secure valuable seed funding to grow your startup at excellent terms. We invest $55,000 USD as a SAFE into each accelerator startup.
Commitment:
We aim to boost your startup’s growth and to ensure every moment is worthwhile – tailoring our support to fit your unique needs. We believe in growing together by building a strong community with people with disabilities, fellow startups, and your team.
Who should apply?
Startup Criteria:
Disability Tech – Your tech startup must clearly benefit people with disabilities either directly or indirectly, this could include disability, health, or aging innovations.
Startup stage – Is your startup post-product and post-revenue? If so, we’re looking for you! Earlier-stage MedTech hardware products are also encouraged to apply, given their longer path to market.
Growth ready – If your tech is able to scale to help more people, we’re interested.
Location – The U.S. program can only accept for-profit startups incorporated in the U.S. (We do not offer a program for non-profits at this time).
Remarkable Innovations – We seek innovators focused on positive impact, growth, and innovation. Show us what’s new and unique about your startup.
