5 Things to Do This Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month

March is Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month, and we’re calling on you to take action! With 1 in 345 children diagnosed with CP and millions of people living with CP worldwide, we need your help to spread awareness, support critical research, and advocate for a more inclusive world.

Here are five powerful ways you can make a difference this month and the tools to help you get started!

1. Spread Awareness

Knowledge is empowering, and spreading the word about CP can make a real difference! Use your voice — chat with friends and family, share fun and informative posts on social media, and help shine a light on the facts while breaking down misconceptions. Every conversation brings us closer to a more inclusive world!

  • Follow & Share CPARF’s Social Media: Instagram | FacebookLinkedIn | YouTube | Spotify
  • Share your story! Why is CP Awareness important to you? Share online and tag CPARF or share your story directly with us by emailing giving@cparf.org.
  • Use the Hashtags: #CerebralPalsyAwarenessMonth, #CPAM, #CPARF, and tag @researchforcp

2. Become a Changemaker

Want to make a lasting impact? Join CPARF’s Changemakers initiative and turn your passion into action. By making a monthly donation of any size, you are helping advance progress in medical research and technology innovation to create a more accessible and inclusive world.

3. Call Your Representatives

Your voice matters. Contact your legislators and urge them to increase funding for CP research to drive innovation in treatments and assistive technology.

4. Host Your Own Celebration

You have the power to fuel life-changing research and innovation. Start your own fundraiser — whether it’s a virtual game night, a community event, or a personal challenge—to support CPARF.

5. Wear Your Support

Show your support loud and proud! Shop CPARF’s Bonfire store for stylish CPARF gear you can wear all year long while supporting groundbreaking research. Wear green this month to raise awareness for CP.

The world wasn’t built for people with disabilities, but we know it can and should be. This March, let’s stand together, take action, and move closer to the accessible and inclusive world we know is possible. Join us in making a difference!
